Our chickens consist of a variety of breeds .We keep some of them in moveable "chicken tractors " especially when they are small.This allows us to move them several times a day if needed ,to make sure they always have access to fresh green grass.Others are allowed to roam large areas of pasture and brought in to a mobil chicken house at night for saftey from pedators and to lay their eggs for collection the next morning.Their diet is supplemented with organic chicken feed.
